Child Safety Standards

Effective date: 13 August 2026  ·  Last updated: 13 August 2026

Texsy is an adults-only, location-based social platform for users aged 18 and over. These are our published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We have a zero-tolerance policy: CSAE has no place on Texsy, and any account involved in it is permanently terminated and reported to the appropriate authorities.

1. Zero-Tolerance Statement

Texsy has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Texsy is an adults-only service restricted to users aged 18 and over. The following are strictly prohibited on Texsy, without exception:

  • Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including any image, video, or text depicting the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor.
  • Child grooming — building a relationship or trust with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation or abuse.
  • Sexual exploitation or sexual abuse of minors.
  • Sextortion involving minors, including threatening to publish sexual content of a minor.
  • Sexualization of minors, including depicting, describing, or portraying a minor in a sexualized manner.
  • Child trafficking for the purposes of sexual exploitation.
  • Any attempt to facilitate, solicit, promote, normalize, or advertise any of the above.

Any account found engaging in, facilitating, or promoting CSAE is permanently terminated and reported to the appropriate authorities.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

Texsy allows users to create profiles, upload photos, and exchange private messages. Users may not upload, share, post, transmit, request, solicit, link to, or distribute CSAM or any other content that sexually exploits, sexualizes, or endangers a child. This applies to every part of the Service, including profile photos, profile text, display names, and private one-to-one chat.

Requesting or soliciting such content is prohibited to the same degree as sharing it, whether or not any content is actually exchanged.

3. Age Restriction

Texsy is strictly for users aged 18 and over. Every account must supply a date of birth during registration, and accounts that do not meet the minimum age of 18 are rejected at sign-up. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to use the Service. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we terminate the account and delete the associated data.

4. How to Report a Child Safety Concern

Any user can report a child safety concern directly from within the Texsy app. Reporting does not require any special permission and is available to all users:

  • In the app: open the other person’s profile or your chat with them, tap the menu (⋮), and choose "Report". Select a reason — including "Underage user" or "Inappropriate content" — and submit.
  • In the app: you may also "Block" a user at any time to immediately stop all contact from them.
  • By email: child safety concerns, suspected CSAE, CSAM, grooming, or any suspicious behaviour involving a minor may be reported to maaglobaltechinc@gmail.com at any time.

You do not need to be certain before reporting. If something concerns you, report it and our team will review it.

5. What Happens After a Report

Reports involving child safety are prioritized and reviewed by our moderation team. Upon receiving a report, and upon obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE, we:

  • Review the report promptly.
  • Remove violating content from the Service.
  • Suspend or permanently terminate the accounts involved.
  • Preserve relevant account information, content, and records where legally required or appropriate.
  • Report confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authority, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable, and to relevant local authorities.
  • Cooperate fully with law enforcement and child protection agencies, including responding to lawful requests.
  • Take further measures to prevent recurrence, including blocking the offending user from creating new accounts where we are able to identify them.

6. Child Safety Point of Contact

Texsy maintains a designated point of contact for child safety matters. This contact is responsible for receiving and responding to child safety and CSAE-related concerns, including notifications from Google Play, and is empowered to act on enforcement and review procedures.

Child Safety Contact — maaglobaltechinc@gmail.com. This mailbox is monitored and is the correct route for regulators, platforms, law enforcement, and users raising child safety concerns.

7. Enforcement

Violations of this policy are enforced against the account and the individual behind it. Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, we may take any of the following actions, without prior notice:

  • Removal of the violating content.
  • A warning issued to the account holder.
  • Temporary suspension of the account.
  • Permanent termination of the account.
  • Referral and reporting to law enforcement and relevant child protection authorities.

Any confirmed CSAE violation results in immediate permanent termination — it is not subject to a warning or a graduated response.

8. Prevention and Moderation

Because Texsy carries user-generated content — profiles, photos, and private messages — we operate ongoing safeguards to detect and act on harmful behaviour:

  • A minimum age requirement of 18, enforced at registration.
  • In-app reporting available to every user on every profile and conversation.
  • In-app blocking, which immediately and permanently stops contact between two users.
  • Review of every submitted report by our moderation team through an internal moderation system.
  • Account suspension and termination powers held by our moderation team.
  • Removal of violating content from the Service.
  • Cooperation with law enforcement and child protection authorities.

9. Compliance With Applicable Laws

Texsy complies with applicable child safety and child protection laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which it operates. We maintain a process for reporting confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authority, including NCMEC where applicable. We also comply with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and the CSAE prohibitions set out in the Google Play Developer Program Policies.

10. Related Policies

This policy should be read together with our other published standards, which also prohibit the conduct described above:

Report a child safety concern

Use the in-app Report option on any profile or conversation, or email maaglobaltechinc@gmail.com. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
