Terms of Service

Welcome to Texsy — a real-time, location-based discovery platform that connects you with people at the same physical venue. Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service. They form a legally binding agreement between you and Texsy.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Texsy platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Texsy. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to terminate any account found to belong to a person under 18.
3. Account Registration
You may register using a mobile number or email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.
4. Location-Based Discovery
Texsy uses your device's GPS to determine your physical location. By enabling location services, you consent to us collecting and processing your location data to display you to other users at the same venue and to show you other users at that venue. You can disable location sharing at any time in the app settings, which will remove you from discovery.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) harass, abuse, or harm any person; (b) post false, misleading, or deceptive content; (c) share explicit, obscene, or offensive material; (d) impersonate any person or entity; (e) engage in any unlawful activity; (f) spam or send unsolicited messages; or (g) attempt to access another user's account or any part of the Service you are not authorised to access.
6. Content
You retain ownership of content you post, but grant Texsy a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, display, and distribute such content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you share. We may remove content that violates these Terms without notice.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use the Service. By using Texsy, you agree to the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Blocking and Reporting
You may block or report any user at any time. We take reports seriously and will investigate all complaints. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban users who violate these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Service (excluding user content) are owned by Texsy. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written permission.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for any interactions between users — you are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Texsy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
